David R. Hunter papers, 1984-2000.

Papers, 1984-2000, of David R. Hunter, a philanthropist and Executive Director of the Stern Fund (1964-1986). The fund served as philanthropic support for social action groups, including the New Party, Sustainable Long Island, and Sustainable Milwaukee. Hunter was highly involved with such groups throughout his life. The papers consist of financial records, correspondence, research papers, proposals, and mailings, all of which largely pertain to Hunter and the groups with which he worked. Hunter's personal files include day planners, general correspondence, biographical materials, and papers from the dedication of a building in his name.
